Pakistan WAPDA Foundation has taken a significant step towards business diversification under the initiative of its new Managing Director, Mr. Nisar Ahmad Khan.

As part of this initiative, the Foundation successfully carried out the trial repair and rehabilitation of an underground turbine from the Ghazi-Barotha Hydropower Project at its Distribution Transformer Repair Workshop, Shalimar, Lahore.

The successful completion of this pilot project highlights PWF’s technical expertise and opens new opportunities for the Foundation to expand into the repair and rehabilitation of hydroelectric equipment. This achievement is expected to support PWF’s entry into new business areas in the power sector.
